US Organic's certified organic tamanu oil is sourced from Southeast Asia and obtained by cold pressing the blonde nut kernel of the calophyllum inophyllum tree. The oil is then filtered, leaving a viscous green liquid. This unrefined, all-natural product is 100% pure, cold-pressed, and free of additives, fillers, and dilutions. Some variations in color can be expected due to its natural state.

Tamanu oil is suitable for use on a broad range of topical conditions and is the most potent natural oil known to be effective for a wide range of skin issues. It can be used topically and/or as a skincare ingredient in cosmetic formulations. The oil is as effective when diluted by 50 percent with either coconut oil or another suitable topical oil. It is suitable for general skin and cosmetic purposes and can be used in lotions, creams, ointments, and cosmetic products, or alone.
